What is Laser Cut Steel Art?
It is beautiful, custom design that can be applied to create unique balcony and stair railings, fences and gates, door coverings and glass inserts, wall decor, fire place trims and screens, signs, etc. But don't stop there, laser cut art can be stretched as far as your imagination and creativity will take it.
- First you choose your image or theme from our ever-growing library or customize your own with one of our graphic designers.
- Then we put 4 x 8 feet (1.2 x 2.4 meters) sheet metal on the laser cutting machine and using advanced computer techniques we generate a pattern which leads a highly focused laser beam to burn the images throughout the steel with extremely fine details. Our laser machines are capable of cutting metal from as thin as 1/64” (0.4mm) to 1/2” (12mm) thick!
- Once your design is cut we remove burrs from sharp edges then we electrostatically apply the powder polyester (also reffered to as Powder Coating) which is baked into the metal surface for a durable, weather resistant, sharp looking finish. Powder coating is available in many colours and different finishes, from shiny gloss through matte to raw textured surfaces.
Our designs with natural themes are the perfect complement to your home, office or cottage decor. When integrating our graphics into balcony or stair railings Tier-1 Products offers a standard 1/8"(3.2mm) steel thickness, you can upgrade to 3/16"(4.8mm) for an additional 10%. These panels also come with an extremely durable and weather resistant finish, so you can install them indoors as well as outdoors. When purchasing a panel for balconies or stair railings Tier-1 Products will maintain openings to prevent the passage of a sphere having a diameter more than 4"(100mm).

Most of our panels are between $45.00 and $65.00 per sq.ft. depending on the complexity and detail of the graphics.
